News from EpiCity, an Atlanta-based real estate company
When Rich Hart set out to create a dynamic production facility in 2018, he needed a location that could support his vision for growth, flexibility, and creativity. A friend introduced him to Powers Ferry Business Park in Northwest Atlanta—and the match was perfect. Starting with just 6,000 square feet, Hart’s venture, Global Media Studios (GMS), has since expanded to over 20,000 square feet, occupying Suites 270 A, B, C, and D, with future expansion already on the horizon.
Today, Global Media Studios is a full-service production studio offering live, virtual, and hybrid programming, audio and video recording, music recording, post-production services, and more. GMS is equipped to handle all stages of production, from live events and broadcast programs to film and music projects, supporting a wide range of creative and corporate clients.
“We could not have found a better location than Powers Ferry Business Park, with its close proximity to all major expressways, The Battery and Braves’ stadium, and the airport,” says Hart. “We love the people at EpiCity—they are fun to be around and always provide the services and support we need.”
At the heart of Global Media Studios’ success is Rich Hart himself. With a career spanning more than 35 years in business, real estate, and financial consulting, Hart is also a renowned speaker, trainer, business coach, international real estate consultant, and syndicated radio host. His passion for service and innovation is deeply rooted in his diverse background—from his time as a professional studio drummer working with legendary musicians, to his achievements as a bodybuilder and fitness consultant. Today, that same dedication fuels his leadership at Global Media Studios.
Hart’s family plays a key role in the studio’s operations as well. His wife, daughter, son, and son-in-law are part of the growing GMS team, which now includes more than a dozen talented professionals. The one word Hart uses to define the studio’s mission is “service.” He describes himself as assertive, reflective, and blessed, values that drive the client experience at GMS.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, Hart quickly pivoted Global Media Studios’ business model, shifting focus from in-person events to technology-driven services. That strategic move led to significant growth, establishing GMS as a go-to destination for quality media production in Atlanta.
“I am blessed with the ability to do what I’m really passionate about and have flexibility in what I do,” Hart says. “One of the keys to a fulfilled life is to surround yourself with great people in a cool environment. I get to do this every day.”
At EpiCity, we are proud to support Rich Hart and Global Media Studios and are excited to continue watching their journey of innovation, creativity, and service here at Powers Ferry Business Park.
